Make It Move in DaVinci Resolve
A Next-Step Guide to the Fusion Page for Titles, Keying, and Motion Graphics, from First Node to a Finished Effect
$12.99
You already edit inside DaVinci Resolve: cutting on the Edit page, leveling audio in Fairlight, grading in Color, and exporting from Deliver. The one tab you have never opened is Fusion.
You start by opening a single clip in the Fusion page and learning how it is built from connected nodes instead of stacked layers: MediaIn and MediaOut, Merge, Transform, and the Text+ node, including why the order you connect a Merge node's background and foreground inputs changes the result. From there you animate a title with keyframes and the Spline Editor, then build a lower third once and save it as a reusable template for future projects.
You pull a clean key on a green-screen shot with the Delta Keyer, attach a graphic to a moving point with the Tracker node, and replace a screen inside a shot using the Planar Tracker's corner pin. You get an honest look at particles, 3D text, and the Paint node, and learn what to do when a Fusion-heavy timeline starts playing back slowly.
Every node, panel, menu, and shortcut comes from Blackmagic Design's own documentation, named the way current versions of DaVinci Resolve show them, with the handful of capabilities that require the paid Studio upgrade identified plainly, so you always know where that boundary sits.
