Refund Policy
This policy governs refund requests for digital books and downloads purchased from Base Layer Books, an imprint of JK Creative LLC ("we," "us"). By purchasing a Base Layer Books title, you agree to this policy.

1. All Sales Are Final
Base Layer Books titles are digital products delivered immediately upon purchase. All sales are final once the product has been downloaded or accessed. Because digital files cannot be returned, we do not issue refunds on completed purchases.
2. Technical Issues — 7-Day Window
If you experience a verifiable technical issue that prevents you from accessing or opening a purchased book — for example, a corrupted file, a broken download link, or a delivery email that never arrived — contact support@jkcreative.store within 7 days of purchase and we will resolve it. Resolution may take the form of:
- Re-sending the download link from your purchase record
- Providing the file in an alternative format (PDF, EPUB, MOBI) where available
- A full refund if we cannot resolve the technical issue
This window applies only to verifiable technical issues. Dissatisfaction with the content, change of mind, or duplicate purchase is not a technical issue under this section.
3. How to Request Help
Send an email to support@jkcreative.store with:
- Subject line: "Base Layer Books — download issue"
- Your name and the email address used at purchase
- The title you purchased and the date of purchase
- A brief description of the issue
We will reply within one business day, Monday through Friday.
4. Chargebacks
We strongly prefer that you contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most download or delivery issues can be resolved within minutes of reaching out. A chargeback creates friction for you, adds card-network fees on our side, and typically takes weeks longer than a direct support reply.
If you file a chargeback without contacting us first, we reserve the right to contest the chargeback with documentation showing the product was delivered and your acceptance of this policy.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under card-network rules or applicable consumer-protection law.
5. Discretionary Resolution
If something has gone seriously wrong outside the standard cases above, contact support@jkcreative.store and describe the situation. Refunds outside the cases above are discretionary on our side, but we will read every message and try to be fair. Discretionary handling does not limit any rights you may have under Washington consumer-protection law (RCW 19.86) or any mandatory consumer-protection law that applies where you reside.
6. Policy Changes
We may update this Refund Policy at any time. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs your refund eligibility. Updates will be posted at baselayerbooks.jkcreative.store and dated accordingly.
